A member of the vigilante group, who spies for ISWAP terrorists in Yobe State, has been arrested by the military.
The terrorists’ spy, 42-year old, name withheld, assigned to Government Girls Unity College, Damaturu, was apprehended by troops of Sector 2 Mobile Intervention Battalion, together local hunters, over espionage for Boko Haram/ISWAP terrorists.
He was said to be leaking security and targets information to terrorists, facilitating the operations of the terrorists while complicating security strategies of troops.
The military said the man is in custody undergoing investigation.
