Nigerian street-pop singer, Seyi Vibez, has removed social media posts targeting celebrity chef, Hilda Baci, following a warning from her lawyers over alleged defamatory content.

The singer deleted the posts hours after Hilda issued a warning demanding that he take them down and publicly apologise or face legal action.
The development followed a dispute involving Seyi Vibez and Dapper Music over an alleged ₦1 billion issue relating to catalogue funds.
Hilda became involved in the dispute after Seyi Vibez reportedly made claims about her in connection with the controversy. She subsequently issued a legal warning, demanding the removal of the posts and a public apology.
A check after the warning showed that the singer had deleted the posts concerning Hilda. However, he had not issued the requested public apology as of the time of the report.
Seyi Vibez was signed to Dapper Music in 2022. The record label is owned by Damilola Akinwunmi, who is reportedly Hilda Baci’s boyfriend.
The singer and Dapper Music later parted ways in September 2024, after which he changed his social media bio to identify himself as an “Independent artist.”
