Senator Abubakar Kyari, on Monday, has emerged as the acting National Chairman of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
Kyari, who was the Deputy National Chairman (North), emerged as the new leader of the party at an emergency National Working Committee (NWC) meeting held at the party Secretariat in Abuja.
Similarly, Festus Fuanter has also been announced as the acting National Secretary of the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Fuanter, who was the APC Deputy National Secretary, took over as the scribe of the party following the resignation of Iyiola Omisore.
Fuamter was born in Plateau State and is a former Commissioner for Lands and Survey in Plateau.
This development follows the sudden resignation of the embattled former national chairman, Senator Abdullahi Adamu.
