The Nigeria Customs Service has released the final list of successful candidates for its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.

Out of 573,680 applicants, only 3,852 candidates secured places for the available positions.

In a news conference, Adewale Adeniyi, Comptroller-General of Customs, said the painstaking nature of the recruitment process prolonged the exercise.

He said the overall selection ratio showed that only one candidate emerged from every 148 applicants.

He also disclosed that the Nigeria Customs Service’s recruitment exercise will henceforth be conducted annually.
