NYSC 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course Begins June 10

The National Youth Service Corps has announced that the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I Orientation Course will commence on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, with the reception and registration of Prospective Corps Members across the country.

According to a statement issued by the Director of Information and Public Relations of the scheme, Caroline Embu, registration of corps members will end at midnight on Friday, June 12, 2026, in all the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.

The NYSC also disclosed that the swearing-in ceremony for the prospective corps members mobilised for the 2026 Batch ‘B’ Stream I service year would hold on Friday, June 12, 2026.

The orientation exercise is expected to end on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

The management of the scheme wished all Nigerian graduates mobilised for the service year a safe journey to their respective orientation camps nationwide.

The NYSC, however, reiterated its warning against night travel for corps members and advised them to prioritise their safety while travelling to camp.

“Prospective Corps Members are advised to break their journeys once it is 6:00 p.m. and pass the night at any available Corps Members’ Lodge, military formation, police station/outpost, or palace of a traditional ruler anywhere in the country before continuing the following morning,” the statement said.

The scheme urged corps members to comply strictly with the safety advisory throughout their journey.
