The repositioning drive of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) in Ekiti State continued to gather momentum as the State Coordinator, Mr. Adeola Abiodun Ige, paid a courtesy visit to the Chief of Staff to the Ekiti State Governor, Hon. Niyi Adebayo, at the Governor’s Office Complex in Ado-Ekiti.

The visit forms part of the State Coordinator’s ongoing strategic engagement with critical stakeholders across the state aimed at strengthening collaboration, fostering partnerships and repositioning the Scheme for greater efficiency and service delivery. Since assuming office, Mr. Ige has embarked on a series of courtesy visits, demonstrating his commitment to building stronger institutional relationships that will advance the objectives of the NYSC in Ekiti State.
During the meeting, Mr. Ige highlighted the need for sustained government support towards improving the operational capacity of the Scheme. He specifically appealed for the intervention of the Ekiti State Government in addressing critical infrastructural challenges at the NYSC Orientation Camp as well as the State Secretariat, noting that improved facilities would enhance the welfare of Corps Members and staff while creating a more conducive environment for the successful implementation of NYSC programmes.
The State Coordinator reaffirmed the Scheme’s commitment to sustaining its partnership with the Ekiti State Government in promoting youth development, national unity and community development initiatives across the state.
