Troops of Operation FANSAN YAMMA have recorded fresh successes against terrorists in separate operations across Zamfara State.
According to a statement by Lieutenant Colonel Aliyu Danja, Media Information Officer of the Joint Task Force, the troops defused an Improvised Explosive Device near Jabanda village in Zurmi Local Government Area.
The statement added that the troops later engaged terrorists at Birnin Tsaba in Birnin Magaji, recovering two motorcycles, a camouflage hat and a handheld radio.
Danja said troops in Shinkafi also engaged terrorists around Kwanar Jolof, recovering a motorcycle and military clothing.
He further noted that troops on patrol near Maradun arrested one Kasimu Garba and another suspected terrorist logistics supplier, Lawali Dan Alo, with over five-point-three million naira and a mobile phone.
The statement says the two suspects are in custody for further investigation.
