Nigerian music sensation Ayra Starr has emerged as the winner of the Best International Act at the 2025 BET Awards. The 22-year-old Afrobeats star triumphed over strong contenders including South Africa’s Tyla, fellow Nigerian artist Rema, and Ghana’s Black Sherif.
Her win highlights the continued global rise and influence of African music on the international stage.
