The Kaduna State Police Command has paraded 580 suspects for kidnapping, armed robbery, and other related crimes in the metropolis and environs.
CP Muhammad Rabiu, The State Commissioner of Police, while briefing journalists on Tuesday, explained that the suspects comprised of 20 kidnappers, 320 phone snatchers, 32 armed robbers 5 Car thieves 13 motorcycle snatchers, 10 suspected rape cases, and 23 receivers of stolen goods.
Muhammad said that some of the suspected criminals were arrested while committing the crime, saying that with the commitment of his men at the command, the rate of crime has been reduced in the state.
CP Muhammad Rabiu, who is the 45th Indigenous Commissioner of Police posted to the State urged residents and citizens of Kaduna to volunteer information for criminal hideouts and activities in the state revealing that, most of the arrests were based on intelligence from locals in the state.
