Monday Okpebholo, Edo state governor has personally supervised the demolition of a building linked to criminal activities such as kidnapping, cultism and ritual purposes.

The governor alongside members of the joint security team comprising the military, police and sister agencies, stormed a building located in the Ogheghe area of Benin city.
Speaking after inspecting the building littered with fetish objects amid unfriendly odour, governor Okpebholo expressed sadness over the criminal activities happening in the building.
This action by the Edo state governor follows the recent enforcement of a new anti-cultism law signed by the governor Okpebholo, which empowers the state to demolish properties associated with cult activities.
