Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde says he is ready to take any risk including his life for the release of the abducted pupils and teachers in Oriire Local Government Area of the state. Governor Makinde stated this while receiving protesters led by a social influencer VeryDarkMan at his private residence in Ibadan.
Governor Makinde expressed confidence in the security measures already in place, saying efforts are ongoing to rescue the victims with minimal casualties.
He commended the protesters for their peaceful show of solidarity. VeryDarkMan pledged to support efforts aimed at ending kidnapping and banditry across the country.
