An unspecified number of people, including prominent personalities from Niger state, have been kidnapped by unknown gunmen in Borgu local government area of the State.
The incident, which occurred on Monday afternoon at about 4pm around Felegi and Ibbi communities on Mokw and New bussa road. This has left the people of the affected communities in the state of fear and despair.
Confirming the incident to journalists, the state police public relations officer Wasiu Abiodun said security agencies in the state are already carrying out investigations on the sad occurrence.
