The Elizade University, Ilara Mokin, Ondo State, Friday, held its matriculation of Students for the 2022/2023 academic session, with a total of 602 Students matriculated.
Speaking during the ceremony held at the University Centre, the University Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Kayode Amund said 602 Students were admitted thought UTME, direct entry across four (4) Faculties.
Amund advised the matriculated students to work hard, work smart, make friends, stay enthusiastic and intellectually curious assuring them of the university’s preparedness to provide excellent academic environment.
He also charged them to adhere strictly with the matriculation oaths by being of good behaviour towards a successful academic journey.
His words: “Dear Matriculants, Diligence and hard work bring successes in life. Attend your lectures; carry out all assignment while you read your notes and textbooks without any procrastination. Shun all acts of misconducts including examination malpractice.
“I wish to tell you that the School maintains zero tolerance for cultism, violent behaviour, fighting, drug abuse, stealing and indecent dressing while I admonish you to adhere strictly to the university laid down rules and regulations, so that you do not lose the unique opportunities that Elizade University offers”.
