ICPC Discovers Another Fake Agency, Tinubu Orders Suspension of Three Permanent Secs

The Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission (ICPC) in its investigation, discovered another fake agency allocated office at the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF).

The discovery resulted in the suspension of three permanent secretaries in the Office of the Secretary to the Government of the Federation on the order of President Bola tinubu. The suspended permanent secretaries include, M.S. Danjuma, Engr Nadungu Gagare and Richard Pheelangwah.

They were suspended for allegedly participating in the establishment of the fake agency “the national Brands development and made in Nigeria special project office” without due legislation or approval.

Dr. Musa Adamu Aliyu, Chairman of the Independent Corrupt Practices and Other Related Offenses Commission, ICPC, after a meeting with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House, Abua, said the discovery was part of the commission’s investigation into illegal establishment of non-existing or non-approved agencies.

The ICPC chairman said fake agency was allocated office at the SGF office. He said that though investigations are still ongoing, the president has ordered arrest of the mastermind of the illegal office establishment, one Prince George Buchi Nwabueze.
